The Mauffrey Group opened last February, the Mauffrey Pays de Loire subsidiary. Situated in Nantes suburb (north-west of France), next to our customer's quarries, the Lafarge Group. The Mauffrey Group had the opportunity to become established in this area, strong of its privileged geographical situation. Charmed by the landscape and the economic possibilities many investors and individuals people begin to settle down there.To continue its development, the Mauffrey Group wishes for several years to become established on the west area of the country. Well, it's done since February 1st, 2010, as the new subsidiary of the Group, Mauffrey Pays de Loire opened its doors. It's in charge of the Lagarge Group raw materials transport up to the place of transformation and at their customers.
The Mauffrey Group operates a park of more than 500 dumpers for building and civil engineering works industry. Rare are the big structures of transport proposing this activity. Our knowledge of the sector and our Group's know-how (transport organization, effective supports departments) allow us to follow the quarries production rates and the future development of Lafarge Group.
Mauffrey Pays de Loire knew a fast starting up. The new employees had been able to start quickly thanks to the implication of all the employees of the Group. The trainers of our center, based in Saint-Nabord, formed the drivers. The new equipment was forwarded by drivers from the Vosges come as additional help to facilitate the started. Just like the Group, the Mauffrey Pays de Loire subsidiary has a new equipment and advanced technologies: new Iveco tractors labelling Euro 5, Schmitz dumping trailers on air cushions, in-cab computing.
